CE 505 - Design of Construction Systems PDF Print E-mail

Advanced design of concrete formwork and falsework systems. Design for excavation and marine construction including temporary retaining structures and cofferdams. Aggregate production operations, including blasting, crushing, and conveying systems. Rigging system design.

Other Course Information:
No textbook required. Class notes will be used instead.
Prerequisites: CE 334: Reinforced Concrete Design I; CE 360: Soil Engineering; Con E 322: Construction Equipment and Heavy Construction Methods, and Con E 340: Concrete and Steel Construction
Special Requirements:
Aggregate Production Software. Students can load on their own computer.
