Instructor's Bio: Dr. Doug Jacobson, Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering, is the Director of the Information Assurance Center at Iowa State University which has been recognized by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence for Information Assurance Education, and to date, Iowa State has one of the largest education programs in Information Assurance in the United States His research interests include: Information security, Network protocols, Network security with current funded research targeted at developing robust countermeasures for network-based security exploits
